Solid Flowing (Liefdefjorden, Spitsbergen 2012)
Multiple glacial tongues, each with their accompanying moraine stripes, merge together at the water line, exposing a glowing terminus of ancient blue-green ice. Such glaciers often leave behind deep valleys they have carved out of the mountains. When the seas submerge the valleys, "fjords" are born. This is called the “Love Fjord,” located on the northernmost settled location in the whole world. Next stop, North Pole!
