Changing States (South Orkney Islands, Southern Ocean, 2007)
Waters dance between their three states, as waves reach up on the excoriated ice and the misty clouds descend from above to the middle section of a huge floating iceberg (known as a "drydock") in the seas 375 miles Northeast of Antarctica. While the waves smoothly erode the base, out of view to the left is a large pinnacle with raw jagged ice crumbling off into big chunks that land on the saddle.
